XIII International Symposium
on Temperature and Thermal Measurements
in Industry and Science
26.06.2016 – 01.07.2016
Full papers will be eligible for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Thermophysics, subject to meeting the required standards. Please note that the deadline for submission of papers to the IJoT Tempmeko 2016 Special Issue is 31 August 2016. Papers must be submitted directly via the IJoT Editorial Manager website (https://www.editorialmanager.com/ijot/). They will be subject to peer review to ensure that they are of the appropriate quality and interest, and demonstrate a significant scientific or technical advance. Authors should be careful to observe the editorial and other requirements of the journal.
There have been some recent changes to the conference programme, and the web-site has been updated to include these changes.
The most significant change is that Dr Roger Atkinson of the World Meteorology Office has unfortunately been obliged to withdraw from the conference due to urgent and unavoidable business. He sends his sincere apologies, and says that he had been very much looking forward to participating in the conference and learning more about the recent achievements of the thermal metrology community.
The organisers have considered options for filling the vacancy in the programme and are very pleased to announce that Dr Manola Brunet, Reader and Senior Scientist in the Centre for Climate Change at the Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Tarragona, Spain, has agreed at very short notice to speak on climate change metrology.
Important information for the poster Authors
On behalf of the chairmen of the International Program Committee and the National Organizing Committee I am pleased to announce that the Authors of the best posters, selected by a few judges, will be awarded during the Symposium TEMPMEKO 2016.
The criteria for a good poster are as following:
